Everybody is an island

These pictures were taken during a photography trip on the isle of Norderney. Sharing not only rooms but a small island with a group of twenty people can be an intense experience. This photo series shows, how the students take time to be on their own, creating their own islands. Accompanied by stills that underline the unique spirit of isolation on Norderney.
